For deliberately dumping billions of litres of raw sewage into the sea.

Nevermind fines, the management should be jailed and the company nationalised.

Shocking 🤬🤬

Senior Management clearly made a conscious decision to do it too.

Until about 2000 it was standard practice to dump raw sewerage in the sea.

Might be time to tear this up :-

Just googled:
"Southern Water, which has received 168 previous convictions and cautions, has been fined £2.7 million in three separate but similar cases since August 2013."

Surely there must be a limit when they have to lose their franchise.

I live in Kent, dumping sewage into the sea doesn't reflect my views. When a company with a monopoly breaks it's commitment to customers it should also be sackable without any benefits carried forward. They've defrauded the customers values by doing this.

They need fining for taking over taking 9 months to get my smart meter working (smart used loosely 😂).

They installed it and simply never worked. OK it 'worked' but never connected so still needed to give meter readings. I've enjoyed £67 pounds worth of phone calls over 9 months to India saying 'yes that's now fixed sir'.

Thatchers vision of a state that has no responsibility in industry has been disastrous.

The theory that the competitive market created by privatisation has been well and truly debunked and yet were all still paying the price for it.
yet any fight against it is labelled as out and out marxism?! The country has lost it's collective marbles

They haven`t changed as these fines were for illegal dumps in to the sea 6 years ago

Closed beaches close to me in the past month as they continue to have incident after incident

Fines are fine. This one was half the yearly profits. Fines go to the Government and the cost is passed on to the customer

Fantastic
