Spurs prepared to move on from signing Spence!

The odds of him coming back here are remote I’d say - Tottenham are notoriously difficult to deal with but i suspect it’s more a question of when he’ll end up there, not if

How would he’d it in anyway other than part of a squad ? Maybe jones could play further forward but he doesn’t have the goals , I dare say they could overlap and form a partnership down there .

There are so many examples of where Levy has overpaid for players who have added little value to his team.
Sissoko £30m loss is a fine example.
Bissouma, Gil, Bettancur and Ndombele are recent examples.

He plays the hardman negotiator and sells high, but he drops some b***ks in fees paid.

Patience here. The club will know who has made bids, who has a strong interest, who might just make mischief; we don't.
I trust Gibson to play his cards well re Spence and whoever else leaves.

Spence should be awful careful playing billy big balls and where he will and won't go. He will only go where we accept the fee. Otherwise he will be going to Rockliffe.

That sounds very virtuous. Unfortunately we have a promotion bid to finance this year, and we don’t want to leave our recruitment to the end of August.
We were told that incomings were not dependant on the sale of Spence.
If Spuds don't want to pay it bring him back here. Can't have too many good players and if it's true he said he only wanted to to Spuds(which I don't believe) he will soon change his mind

I've said it before on other threads and I'll say it again here... Spence is not worth £15 million. We're living in fantasy land.

If they want to pay 10m, and we want to sell for 15m... Meet them somewhere in the middle, get him sold and and move on.
If Bissaka is worth what he is worth then Spence is worth 15 to 20 million

I bet he`s petrified he may have to turn up for duty - here - even if he eventually goes>>>>
We want the £20,000,000 - which is bugga all in the Prem these days.
McNair and McGree returned today so he shouldn’t be too far behind them. The fact he’s not suggests its only a matter of time.

Alternatively, he could stay at Boro, be instrumental in getting another team promoted then get his move to the Spuds for £35m next summer with all the extra financial benefits that will bring him.
I think everyone involved knows that scenario isn’t realistic. Which is what puts Levy in a decent position. Player wants to go there and he knows the relationship Spence now has with Boro. We need to sell this summer and Levi knows that.

We should have had him unveiling the kits, made him captain, that would have flushed spurs out. Imagine his face.

There is no way he is coming back here. I imagine 15mil will go through next week.

If it doesnt I would sell on the cheap 12 mill to anyone but spurs to **** levy and spence off.
