We don't have to be double jabbed do we? A negative lateral flow or previous infection will do for a pass.If we the customers in night clubs and spectators at football etc have to be double jabbed, I assume staff who aren't can't work?
Sorry, yeh forget about the tests, so if their not jabbed they'll have to do LFT before work.Negative lateral flow is enough for customers, it will be enough for staff.
For now, at least.
So to go to venue you have show passport or LFT but to work there where your in contact with customers you don't need to.Advised to. Don't have to
Why's that? Those venues would probably not have enough staff to open if all staff had to be double jabbed.
Precisely why covid passports will make virtually no difference to the spread of omicron in their present form. Harsher measures on the way is my guess. You can get a lateral flow test, get the barcode off it, don't even do the test and send a message saying it was negative and receive the message from the NHS that says you have a negative test so can go in so yes it's very much a tick box exercise.
How do you evidence a previous infection? We don't have to be double jabbed do we? A negative lateral flow or previous infection will do for a pass.
Its under the covid pass in the NHS app I think it is valid for 3 months the start if your infection, but I would check. How do you evidence a previous infection?
A negative test can be faked easily as pointed out above, less easy to fake vaccine status. Its all a bit silly - If you are double jabbed no need for a negative test, even though plenty of people who are double jabbed have still caught/catching Covid. Myself included
In the new year its going to be compulsory for health and social care staff to be double jabbed or lose their job - so why not every other industry? To say the staff need to have been double jabbed to work is edging close to making being jabbed compulsory, which as of yet we have tried to avoid. Its your choice if you go to a nightclub, it's not your choice if you work to pay your bills or not.

Dying of covid isnt a "choice" or an attack on individual liberty - its a fact of life.
If you want nursing and looking after when you are ill - get double vaxinated and get the booster.
Its Boris and his Cabinet who have made it compulsory.Because roofie that then makes vaccination compulsory by the back door. Get the vaccine or starve. Get the vaccine or live in a cardboard box. Get the vaccine or....
We should be working harder to actively encourage those who haven't had the vaccine yet, not threatening them.
