Steffan

He plainly is (or more accurately will be) a very good goalkeeper. He has to learn how to play in this league, it's not the Prem and more physicality is the norm and is allowed, as he found out today. He will be worried about giving away a penalty and just needs to learn how to deal with physical challenges. He has obviously been schooled in the Man City sweeper-keeper role and is good with the ball at his feet. Once he gets used to the league and with a fixed system in front of him and preferably a fixed three players he will do very well. IMO.
It's not how good he is with his feet I'm worried about, it's how good the players who are receiving the ball are with their feet. Play a floaty pass to a city player they'll kill the ball dead just by looking at it. Our ones will need three or four goes at it.

What I want from our keeper is quick distribution to the wing backs to start a break. I don't want us playing short passes around the back when a team is pressing is.

One thing I am slightly concerned about is that he might slack off after the World Cup.

He's joined us because he's desperate to make the starting 11 there, once that motivation is gone...

He already looks a bit lackadaisical even with that goal in mind.

Hopefully that's just me overthinking thinga and he just had a bad day today.

decent back up in Roberts so lets see how long he lasts .... previous blunders at city are well documented on youtube , Hopefully he gets his act together , great kicker tho ....
