Stone island attire is chav.

Just because you don’t like the actions of some of the people who wear it doesn’t make it ‘tat’. It’s far from it.

It’s interesting, when people talk about Stone Island and hooligans and whatnot. I mean, do they hold the same opinions of the suit-makers and tailors on account of some of their business and political clientele doing untold damage to the economy, the environment, the climate and society in general, while wearing an exquisitely tailored two- or three-piece suit bought on Savile Row?

I somehow doubt it.

It is basically a Marks and Spencer jumper with a NATO badge on the arm.

What is next trend a United Nations blue jumper.

Not for me.

I suppose it has a macho image from Green Street.

To be fair 90% of stone island gear at the footy is fake. So more 'Stone Thailand' lol.

I mean the average 8-15 year old isn't paying £150 for a jumper or £250+ for a jacket to go with sports direct tracksuit bottoms.

Whilst it's definitely a badge of the hooligan. I'm not sure it's alright to sound everyone out about wearing it. I imagine some folk just have a good job and spend hundreds on clothes.

It's like saying all BMW drivers are flash tossers who don't know how to use an indicator. It's not the case.... Just the majority 😉

I don't like stone Island as it's very very boring clothing for a high price. UK men's style is about not standing out. About blending in whilst also showing you have spending power with a discretely placed logo.
1970s was probably the last decade with decent fashion.

So what has it got to with you. Each to their own. Just because it's not for you fair enough.
Probably wore Adidas trainers for 50 years. Not Samba but Adidas still my favourite footwear. My choice

To be honest if I was a hard football hooligan (I'm so not ). I would try not to look like one. Surely it makes sense walking around in normal clothes so not to attract attention?

You could kick off with a stone island clad rival and he wouldn't see it coming. Also less likely to attract police. I thought this when Boro played Derby. Folk walking around town in groups of 10 or more with balaclavas and stone Island jackets.

It's like going to do a burglary with a bag saying 'swag' wrote on it 😂

Red lip stoneisland was out before green street. The fashion today is bad tho years ago they might have XL. L M S in a jumper ie one in each size possible 2/3 in each size so not many people had it. This is not the case now you might as well go to MS for a jumper also the price is ridiculous now

Not easy getting them docs so shiney you could see your face in them. Took hours of dedication.

If you could afford it you'd have Levis, the rest of us mere mortals settled for Wranglers.

Wranglers have always been and always will be the uncoolest jeans on the planet even worse than Geordie jeans. As for the awful rude boy look they weren't so innovative they just dressed like grandad's
