I don’t think folks have noticed for such a long time about the embarrassing questions. He’s the first manager we’ve had with that winning mentality drilled into him and he’s quite bright too!

The best we’ve had before is the razzmatazz who turn the daft questions into a bit of a story or a funny sound bite.

The same reporter asks him the same questions every week and tries to funnel his answers by suggesting what he must be thinking and doing.....typical reporter after a headline. He wastes about four minutes of every Media Conference. After the first 10 minutes thats it.

Carrick is so calm and composed in front of the media and just bats everything away with ease. Its like watching Satchin Tendulkar against a primary school pace attack.

Youd think they'd at least do a bit of preparation and try and ask him something where he'll have to think a bit.

One journo yesterday was trying to get carrick to say we had the better team and players and should beat coventry...carrick wasnt falling for that. Imagine coventry players reading that before tomorrow. Carrick aint no fool.

Agree. A lot of sports journalists seem quite content with such predictable and repetitive questions.
