The word legend is bandied about far too easily these days but this fella is certainly worthy of the word.

Died at the age of 69 , leaves David Johansen as the last Doll standing.

I co promoted Sylvain at the Georgian Theatre back in 2013 for a solo show. He was fantastic. Told some great stories on stage, but some better ones back stage!

Whenever I hear Lou reed / The Velvet Underground / Iggy Pop / The Clash - "The Dolls" are interwoven culturally and musically.

Massive influence, very understated but utterly brilliant
