T20 Tonight

I enjoyed that and England got closer than I thought they would. The WI batted well and backed it up with some good bowling. It was worth watching just for Powell's batting display alone.

Questions need to be asked regarding Livingstone's fitness but other than that, some good performances from a few debutants.

Not sure why people need to take a football flag to the cricket!!
When I watch the game and see the Middlesbrough flag I check out the crowd to see my mates and any other I might know. They congregate with others from the area and other Boro fans from elseewhere. Shall I text him and tell him its putting your watching experience off and to desist at once. ;)

As for the shirts people often buy the shirts just for leisure wear. Years ago I often bought a Boro shirt but don't think I have ever worn one to a football game except the FA Cup Final when we lost to Chelsea. If I remember rightly I thought I had jinxed them by wearing the shirt and threw it away on Kings Cross station. Stupid I know but thats were I was at then.

Can you please tell me in which part I said taking a football flag to a cricket match spoilt my viewing?

As for your shirts comment, I understand people wear them for football games but cannot for the life of me understand why a grown man would want to wear them for a day out. I am sure there are people who laugh at me in my brown shoes but I am comfortable in them and I am sure they are in their footy shirts. In a way, my post above was me saying that I know I am in the minority (wrong) about this and also saying I could be wrong about flags.

I just hope my shoes don't smell as bad as a 40+ year old bloke in a footy shirt.

he’s been throwing up all week and lost 2 stone.

he still looked VERY peaky

Sounds like there's a bug doing the rounds in the England squad....am no cricket coach, but I still don't see why we can't transfer some of the confidence and bravado from white ball cricket to the Test team!
