Talking to Ameobi

Don’t know who you are referring to as for the reported you comment nosmo , it certainly wasn’t me ?
As for being related to Davis ? It’s a No , I just think he could suit us for the target man role .
I won’t mention him again just to please you .
Simply red - in no way was I accusing you at all. Just the last time I criticised a couple of players I was reported as being racist- something I abhor. So just adding my disclaimer - no more than that. Sorry if I caused a misunderstanding.

I had good info that we were very close to getting Davis on loan last season. He hasn't played much first team footy for a lad of his age. No wonder he wants to look for a switch at this point. He hasn't had the chance to do anything of note as Nosmo has referenced but that's not to say he won't 👍

I'm struggling with the left back.. all the others have scored the same amount of goals last season as their corresponding shirt number would be this coming season..

8 Alex Mowatt
9 Josh Windass
10 Michael Smith
11 Jed Wallace
12 Nick Powell
13 Cauley Woodrow
15 Chuks Aneke

I just need to find a 6'3 left back between the ages of 26-29 who can play centre back, scored three goals last season and is based in the UK and out of contract.

Max Kilman - Wolves 6'4 - 34 yo has scored 3 goals his entire career. Wolves are looking to move him on..
along with Dion Sanderson who was on loan at Sunderland last season.

Could they be the new Dominic Iorfa Kourtney Hause? (both out of contract in 2022)

Nat Philips from Liverpool has been linked with Boro and we made an enquiry about taking Rhys Williams (also Liverpool) on loan last January.
Ben Davies would be my choice Newy, can play LCH LB and he is a leader
Luke O'nien can also play both across the back and CM
Corey Blackett Taylor on a free is an option, and I also think Hartlepool LB LWB
Zaine Francis Angel would be good cover , and the diamond would be
Jon Mellish , Carlisle CM CH who is left footed so can cover , but more importantly , scored 16 goals from midfield last season , something we miss .Age 23 , h1.88m , ticks the NW boxes.

Mowatt wanted by his old manager at WBA , and they will out bid us on wages, so that is a big doubt .

Love the list Newy , but being realistic , NW said we won't be spending money.
Mowatt - Wages could be the issue ,with WBA out paying us.
Windass-£1.5m fee and wages may rule us out.
Michael Smith- £1m or close , could be in our reach.
Jed Wallace - £1.5m , but Saville in exchange may get him
Nick Powell - again , wages could be the stumbling block.
Cauley Woodrow- would command a fee out of our reach
NW won't leave us in a spot, with high wage players on long term contracts.
He has said 'players and agents need to realise the money is not there anymore'

£4m?
Dare I say funds could be raised with the sales of Wing, Spence, Coulson, Akpom.. or even ‘the golden child’

Done and he is a Boro player. Its now up to the club to confirm this. Mixed feeling on this for sure. We have hit low in away on players.

Underwhelmed by this but let's see if Warnock can get the best out of him.

Unfortunately you'd have to assume this ends any hopes of us signing Bolasie.

That goal against Cardiff will live long in the memory but don't remember too much else of note from that spell.

Whenever I've seen him for Forest they've either been under the cosh and playing on the break (which renders him largely ineffective) or their build-up has been incredibly slow-paced - again, not sure that fits with Warnock's style?

If chicken legend says its a done deal then you can heave a huge sigh of relief that he is not signing for Boro. Thank God.
Wandering about mopping up rejects is not really going to be a recipe for success. Warnock will know that. He should wrap in if thinks such players are worth a punt. He's like Britt but without the goals.
