Any changes? Managing minutes for anyone?

Tough one to call. I'd give Ayling a rest and bring Dijksteel in. Hackney to come on in second half. Brynn was excellent the other day and would have no issues with him playing again but think Dieng comes in.

I'd go

Dieng

Dijksteel
Edmundson
Clarke
Borges

Howson
Barlaser

Doak
Azaz
Burgzorg

Latte Lath

Subs -

Brynn
Ayling
Fry
Hackney
Jones
McGree
Forss
Hamilton
Conway

If Doak is fit he has to to start for me no question, I know he is young and playing alot, but he is just on fire, he was the player who got us back in the game on Saturday, he has the x factor...play him please, we can always bring him off around the 60 minute mark.

Brynn - deserves to keep his place

Dijksteel - give Ayling a break
Edmundson
Clarke
Borges

Barlaser
Hackney - Howson has just come back

Doak
Azaz
Burgzorg

Latte
Yeah wouldn't be against that team either. The Dieng/Brynn one is an interesting call for the manager.

Wednesday
Dieng
Ayling - Edmundson - Clarke - Borges
Howson - Barlasar
Jones - Azaz - Burgzorg
ELL

MC has mentioned a few times about managing minutes for Doak - so Wednesday could be that opportunity.
I don't think Hackney will be ready to start, but may feature off the bench.

Saturday
Dieng
Ayling - Edmundson - Clarke - Borges
Howson - Hackney
Doak - Azaz - McGree
Conway

Hackney back in the team if he's back on the benchh Wednesday.
I've been really impressed with Burgzorg... but McGree has to come back into the first team for me if he's fully fit.
I also think MC will start Conway a few times over ELL just to keep them both fighting for the position... with ELL and Azaz both impressing, I think we forget Conway has 6 goals this season too.

I can see Dijksteel starting one of the games and don't think Howson will play both games either from the start.

We must play Howdon from the start. We always player better when Jonny is on the pitch. We know he's not getting any younger, and a suitable replacement is needed and soon, but unfortunately Barlaser hasn't stepped up to the plate, and the search continues.

His replacement is already here, the fella who's kept him out of the team when fit. Aidan Morris.

Barlaser, Hackney and Howson will have to share the workload while Morris is out. Next summer we will be signing at least another midfielder too as I'm fairly sure this is Howsons last season.

Morris is the long term replacement surely? - Howson and Barlasar are more than adequate backup options.

If Hackney is fit, bring him in for Howson. I think Johnny should not be used for a lot of games in a short period if it can be helped.

I would find a place for McGree possibly for Burzog. McGree should not be tired now. He's surely in our best 11 when fit etc.

I would not drop Ayling, it looked fine at Oxford and has had a 2 week International break. He is a leader on the pitch and when we were stuttering for result lost on here were saying we need more leaders on the pitch.

Sol did well at Oxford, but if Dieng is fully fit he's still our number 1 for me.

Doak is full of energy and desperate to develop himself which will not happen if he's not playing. Did Liverpool and England drop Michael Owen when he was 19?

Thinking about it, if Blackburn sit deep it might not be big Burgs kind of game, he likes clear space to run into, McGree is more of a schemer and can pick through defensive structures with clever play.
Burgzorg is great have coming off the bench if they are chasing the game.
