The 9am figures not disclosed yet?

Do you think it's just the most populated areas that are the worst...simple as that ???
Not a clue anymore.
I just copy this table off of a fella I follow on Twitter who posts this every day. I like the simplicity of red is bad and green is better

The table does show progression in the right direction which is always good.

I like everyone else, can't wait to get back to normal. I have been one of the anal ones observing not just the letter but the spirit of the legislation which has made this a long year. I know this is much worse for others but it is rubbish.

The number of first dose vaccinations has dipped alarmingly.
I understood we needed to be averaging at least 300k a day to meet the mid-February target.

In the 1st wave, there was one day when more than 1,000 died (i.e. actual date of death). There were four such days consecutively last week (with potential for that number to grow).

The numbers aren't on the HMgov site today for some reason. I saw the total in a Guardian article and the daily figure is my calculation. (I did the same yesterday and a larger figure came out which didn't turn up!)

Your figures appear to be correct Bear.

I thought the drop over the previous couple of days must be some sort of weekend effect, but it does seem a bit odd that they then continued to drop on the Monday too. Current required rate to vaccinate the 14.6m (Institute of Government estimate) in the top four priority groups by 15th February is 369k per day.

Getting NHS workers and care home vaccinations done should in theory be fast and easy to launch into at pace as they are very accessible for jabs to be administered on a large scale.

Not so much when opening that up more generally as people have work/childcare/difficulties leaving the house etc.

I hope it continues to grow and that its not just a blip in reporting.
