The number of first dose vaccinations has dipped alarmingly. As of 9am on 19 January, 3,466,849 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the UK.
Positive cases were 33,355.
1,610 deaths were reported today
89,243 deaths with Covid-19 on the death certificate (up to 1 January)
4,266,577 have had a first dose vaccination. 204,076 first dose vaccinations yesterday.
The numbers aren't on the HMgov site today for some reason. I saw the total in a Guardian article and the daily figure is my calculation. (I did the same yesterday and a larger figure came out which didn't turn up!)The number of first dose vaccinations has dipped alarmingly.
I understood we needed to be averaging at least 300k a day to meet the mid-February target.

Your figures appear to be correct Bear.
I thought the drop over the previous couple of days must be some sort of weekend effect, but it does seem a bit odd that they then continued to drop on the Monday too. Current required rate to vaccinate the 14.6m (Institute of Government estimate) in the top four priority groups by 15th February is 369k per day.
