* The Final Unofficial "Official" League Season Boro v Coventry Match-Day Thread *

All will be sorted tomorrow, we can then start the count down to the play off semi finals ,must admit starting to feel nervous already.....don't usually, not sure if it's a good or bad sign...

Morning Roofie. Good read again. I do like the old pictures, everyone is soooo young.

Not sure what carrick will do tomorrow, go for the best 11 he has available, pick an 11 to get more miles into the squads legs for our last 3 games, start to ease some of the injured players back?

It's a conundrum. Personally, I don't really care. I would like to see us win, of course. It doesn't matter though, form is meaningless. It's the 11 we put on the pitch for the play-off semi and the final.

If we do go up, I will be quite sad to say goodbye to the championship. It isn't perfect, but it is much closer to a sporting competition than the premier league. Which is just a money laundering operation for Sky and a handful of clubs, the monarchy of football, if you like.

I am feeling a little maudling this sunday morning.

What kind of crows we expecting tomorrow? Cant see it being 30k as its bit of a dead rubber to us. Maybe get 28k max

Thought some of you might like to see this - a short video of part of a 2006 interview with former Boro and Coventry player, John O'Rourke. He speaks about how he came to join the Boro from Luton and the 66-67 promotion season.

His most memorable moment in his short time at Coventry was when he ran out of the defensive wall to leave the gap for Ernie Hunt's infamous 'donkey kick' goal seen here:

John and his wife Deirdre were a lovely couple.

Cheers young man. hope you are well. I just want to see us win in the lovely sunshine and polish off the league season: to say "Thank You" to all the lads an lasses and say cheerio to the players [some might not be here next season - come what may]. Its been one hell of a season and the lads must be looking forward to get over the line. Stay positive, we`ll get to Wembley and come back with our name on the Premier League Fixtures next season.
I`m knackered watching Notts County beat Boreham Wood in extra time. They remind me of Boro: they dont do things by halves or make it easy on themselves

Whenever I see that goal go in I hear the opening bars of match of the day - showing my age there.

Think its going to be a tough day for us . In their last 17 away games they have kept a clean sheet , 10 times , and a further 6 times have restricted the home team to 1 goal . Only 1 team , Sheff Utd have scored more than 1 against them . Looks like they are playing their full strength preferred starters
