Missed chances again yesterday could be the difference between staying up and heading to league one….
Surely the club will hasten his return ????
Forss offers nothing, hoppe the same from all we’ve seen and we have a natural goalscorer helping B.Rovers ffs!

Their fans are calling him the ‘Teesside Harland’ and their manager doesn’t want to discuss him for fear that we’ll take him back…..
Surely that tells us all we need to know ???

More sitters missed by either akpom or muniz
Akpom can clearly get a goal or two so add josh into that and it could transform us up top.
Remember, josh never had a player with him up top who could hold it up like akpom has been showing.

We are weak as pi$$ in midfield and at the back so might as well be more potent up front surely ???

stop it - you are going round in circles & thats not healthy.

take a few days off, drink plenty of water - put netflix on and watch a series or 2.

The best place for Coburn right now is on loan at Bristol Rovers. I am a massive Coburn fan and have watched him for the U23s and the under 18s. He really stands out at those levels which is a very good sign and I am sure he will be a very good player at Championship level, but by being out on loan in league 1 he will learn the tough side of football and will come back next season a much better and stronger player. Bringing him back into this team will harm his long term potential.

I don't think Akpom and Muniz did particularly badly yesterday, they seem to dovetail with one another, it's the rest of the team which has no heart. The defence is so, so poor at opposition set pieces (I exclude Fry from that remark) and our midfield is so weak (I exclude Howson from that remark). What's happened to the team since we finished 7th last season, it surely can't all be down to Tav leaving?

Unless he has developed as a midfield player while he has been at the Gas I would leave him there. Its midfield that is causing most of our issues. Pathetic.

Take your reasoning into account I think we need to send the rest of the first 11 on loan to league 1 to toughen them up - oh hang on!

Actually I totally agree with ypu. Coburn is exactly where he needs to be and unlike some im glad he is working with Barton who would probably kick his granny in the back yard to win a game. A bit of that attitude wont hurt we could certainly do with it around the first 11

Tav leaving has a lot to do with it, he was clearly our best player and drove up standards with his whinging which is required !!!
The between championship and league one at present and noone seems to realise it

Coburn’s experience in League One this season will be useful for us next season, he’ll know the players, grounds etc….
Only that a championship club will offer 15m plus and Gibson will take it and confine us to league one for a decade or more
