* The Original Unofficial "Official" Boro v Hull Match-Day Thread *

I wouldn’t pay any attention to Diego. His whole spiel is starting a thread with the name of a player who’s clearly played well as if he knew it all along.
Not really, just like to comment on individual players after matches. Haven’t created a thread after the game tonight about an individual player. Sexpom called me out plenty of times for my comments on McNair. So just repaying him a bit of love.

Oh and Zack Steffen is quality lad

Well, that's the playoffs cemented lads, and what a way to do it👍😁

Yeah I know not mathematically, but if anyone thinks that ALL OF THE FOLLOWING WILL HAPPEN; Blackburn are going to win all of 4 of their remaining stinkers of a fixture list, West Brom all 4 of theirs AND Millwall to win all 3 of theirs and overturn a 22 goal deficit to us whilst they're at it, then you either need shipping off to the nuthouse, or your name is Ex-Footy legs or Dontheking😁

Edit; Looks like I made the same mistake as BostonBoro amd forgot Millwall had to play Blackburn so we're mathematically in them too now.🤣
Though I'm sure the two posters mentioned can smell a points deduction for something or other. so the final point still stands.😁

The love is well received my friend, we don’t always get it right otherwise we would all be on the touch line.

E - I - effing - O.

Gerrin lads, was never in any doubt.
Glad to see the ref bring his glasses out for the second half.

We carried on as we were from the 1st half, our philosophy. Hull tired out and lost concentration, we capitalised on it, playing as we do.

It’s a great time to be a Boro fan.

Shout out to Jones, and also the other assister, Steffen.

What a captain Howson is. Centre mid, right back, centre back. Wherever he's needed, even within games, and makes it look no trouble whatsoever.

Brilliant that it seems to be rubbing off on Hackney also. That's two games in a row he's started the match in one position and had to shift when injuries have come up and he's been excellent both times.
