Im surprised the egyptians aren’t trying to tow it out using Ladas on the tow path
It's not - professional salvors are in attendance, dredging and tugs etc. But such equipment make less amusing memes.I can't get over that a blockage on the world's most valuable shipping lane costing billions a day is being sorted by a bloke in a digger.
It somehow sums up the last year.

Was the sunrise bouncing off your blue rosette or red one?As if some people still manage to turn this thread into a political t*t for tat. Saddos!
I transited through the suez onboard HMS Illustrious about 16th Sept 2001. Very interesting place and a sight to behold at sunrise.
I think they are looking at unloading, but it may take a couple of weeks. Can't they send some ships down each end, unload some of the containers until its light enough to float higher on the water and pull it out.
How do I claim my percentage of the salvage once they have seen this idea..

Apparently, it needs extreme care as it would be in danger of capsizing.Loading/unloading these ships is like an art form. Would imagine a couple of cranes either side would take a while.
You`re right!Corbyns to blame !
Those cars were never that good.Im surprised the egyptians aren’t trying to tow it out using Ladas on the tow path
Except it unfortunately isn’t !I can't get over that a blockage on the world's most valuable shipping lane costing billions a day is being sorted by a bloke in a digger.
