Teams in the Championship over the years have proved they can get promoted by set piece goals and clean sheets. The two teams in the final are examples, as are Sheffield United. Once we get in front our possession football would make us difficult to beat. Charlie Cresswell has been linked in the past (below). At Millwall this season, on loan from Leeds he scored 5 goals last season. (y)

I'm wondering if Matt Clarke is fit if he'll get the nod along side Leinhan.
I think Fry will leave this summer with him being out of contract next summer.
One thing is for certain, we need a settled side. We were at our best last season when the players played together every single game

I think first we need players who can take free kicks and corners.

Our set piece deliveries this season have been atrocious.

But totally agree - a defender popping up with 5+ goals (and indeed goals spread out among the team) will help us massively 👍

Matt Clarke - anyone know what his long term prognosis is? Is he knackered? Will he be back?

I'd like to see a bit more of him. Had a decent start at Boro in a very strange situation. In a back 4 alongside Lenihan....🤔🤔

And after all, he is a left footed CB so should guarantee us promotion......

I guess this depends if Leeds stay up or not if they come down can't see them selling as they'll play him
 
Hmm.. big defenders who can score, we need to work on our corners and free kicks.

I would like us to progress in a way that makes us even more ready for the premier league. This group did amazingly well and proved that we could do it.

Keep as much of the gang together as we can, why wouldn’t you sign on for consistency and a genuine long term plan? Steffen needs game time and consistency let’s get him back!

Archer could do with a full season in the championship.. Ramsey hasn’t been able to show what he is fully capable of yet. Chuba has cracked it.. let’s go again.

Giles saying that it would be his last game at the Riverside feels like maybe Wolves want to give him a go or maybe he has a move lined up.

Muniz didn’t work out unfortunately.. but he’ll find his way.

Fry, McNair, Crooks, Jones, Dijksteel & Bola all feel like they are on the verge of a move away.
