I know why we played the way we did, and maybe we'll see the benefits of it on Wednesday, but I think we were a little too risk-averse today. The defence was excellent but our attack lacked teeth. Forss was brought on, but barely given any opportunity to get on the ball and run at them or get in behind. I'm happy with the result, but I'm just wondering if we might've been capable of more. Was a shame to see us waste some attacking FKs and (as usual) not threaten from corners.

Missed opportunity for me. Weren't at our best but Coventry looked awful. Surely they must have played better than that this season to finish fifth?!

On the plus side I still don't see any outcome where we don't progress so there's that.

That was Coventry's big chance to get at us and they didn't manage a shot on target. We played very well as an away team. Pressure will be on us as the home team of course, but we've overcome the first obstacle in front of us.

Finally managed a 0-0 under Carrick, whilst being the better team, and going back to the Riverside with a brilliant home record.

Akpom, Archer, McGree and co will have to up their game a bit in the 2nd leg. Trying to pass it through the Coventry defence didn't work.

We’ve lumped a whole lot of extra pressure on ourselves now. They’ve nothing to lose playing at the Riverside, we’re more than likely playing to a sold out expectant crowd who’re always nervous at best and will get on the players backs.

We get a good result away from home and all you can say is that it has heaped extra pressure on us. Are you for real?

Great result. Slightly unfortunate we couldn't take the opportunity in the first half but defensively we were great which was something I didn't expect. We have a chance and that's all I wanted after the first leg.
