* The Unofficial "Official" "Wear-Tees Derby: Sunlun v Boro Match-Day Thread *

People are frustrated because we are miles ahead technically and lost . Unfortunately the Boro team didn't match their effort or attitude they played the game like a cup game or a derby match we played it like a meaningless friendly. I still have strong reservations about this team being physically strong enough to get out of this division, when the going gets tough and it's midfield battle we are far too timid in the tackle. They were quicker to win the second ball all over the park. That's not acceptable
I don’t disagree with you but I think the most important part of what went wrong today was, our tempo. We stood on the ball at the back, didn’t pass the ball forward in midfield like we have been doing, we played safe passes,
Surprisingly, Sunderland sat off us and didn’t press us and I think that surprised us especially at the back.
Everytime we seemed to engage with them in midfield, when they won it back they broke fast and played like the away team.
Our two main errors were not moving the ball across the field anything like quick enough and too many times in midfield, instead of passing it forward we went backwards and we built Sunderland’s confidence for them….

Some more than others.
You must keep in touch more often.
You could be our "foreign correspondent" - from SR5 [lyke].
A bit like File on Four.
You could give us a fans-eye-view on how your team are coping and adapting to life in the Championship - it might even be considered for one of our match-day threads.
Good luck away at Millwall

Do I get paid 🤷

I think we were very unlucky with the penalty and sending off.
I wonder if there will be an appeal.
I think we would be crazy to appeal that. As far as I can see, the only valid argument over the decision is the question of the foul being inside or outside the area. But it's a denial of an obvious goal scoring opportunity either way.
