That corner summed our game up. Cannot get passed 1st post.

Our set play delivery has been embarrassing for a professional team.

Not one player has been up for a fight or a battle, we have lost pretty much every 50:50 and second ball. These are dog egg and we've barely laid a glove on the them.

And we've had so many too. In a sport obsessed with statistics, I'd love to know why we just don't seem to have bothered investigating the possibility of using corners for days like today when we're not getting through in open play.

Even if we get past the first post we don't have naturally aggressive headers of the ball.

Strange game -we have looked really poor in long periods today, off the pace for the game you thought we would be really up for. Then during 70 to 80 minutes we sparked with some impressive stuff. Hopefully Carrick will put this behind us and get a good result against Watford. Just one of those days today

So far under Carrick, we`ve lost two games - and this will be the third - in 12 league games. Lets lot loose perspective.

Their fans have made it a derby style atmosphere and unfortunately their players have responded to it.

But remember one thing, they don't care.

Can't win them all but frustrating given if we'd played at even half our normal level we'd have blown these away.

Not acceptable to have one of those days in a derby they were up for it we weren't absolutely fuming.
