I didn’t watch the Qatari World Cup due to the obvious corruption and how on earth can the likes of USA hold this tournament multiple times while England hasn’t even held it once in my life time ? Surely most neutral fans would feel the ‘home of football ‘ would be an obvious location for it ?
Unfortunately USA will probably continue to influence our game even more over time with the continued ownership of our football clubs

I haven't checked if this is true but it seems FIFA have engineered it so that SA could bid for the tournament unopposed.

Sad that after all the previous controversy and corruption that there isn’t anything in place to chuck out another dodge pot as soon as possible. The FIFA World Peace Prize was a new unimaginable low.

Corrupts states, warring nations.. the World Cup should be a gift that raises deserving countries profiles and improves their infrastructures.

The irony about US banning Iranians from entering the country now goes back to 1966. Before the tournament started in England the Wilson Government considered banning North Korea as it would upset the Americans if they allowed them to play.

It was FIFA who said to the British that if they banned North Korea then the hosting rights would be taken away.
