The Weekend beer and music thread.

i once did a job in lands end, was a 2 day job, drove there with the guy id known for about 20 years, wed chatted etc , got there, did the job, driving home around birmingham and this came on the radio, he belted it out word perfect, it was a bit surreal but beautiful, its stayed with me

Babysitting 4 feral granddaughters and a dog this weekend in Lincolnshire. Naff all booze so will need to sort that in the morning. Happy weekend to all
I remember when babysitting and listening to Diana Ross and the Supremes meant something totally different. The Supremes 20 Golden Greats was always my go to album when going babysitting with a young lady. ;)

Isn't Blinded by the Light a Springsteen song? From the 60s! Amazing he's still gigging, at what 80 years of age?
(and it really is a great song)

Feeling rough this weekend so it’s tea and toast - newly arrived Pulp tea.

British Sea Power’s classic The Decline of British Sea Power was 20 years old yesterday. What an album, what a band. Dozens of great nights out seeing them.
