Just watching the latest case on the news, why do they admire the nazis so much? They think they are patriotic but worship the scum we fought in the 2nd world war.
Strange, though they are not the brightest to be fair

I think the far right are driven by fear at heart - fear of anything different, fear of what they don't understand and fear that they, as individuals, are inferior.

Pour the Brexit/UKIP petrol on that particular racist fire and suddenly it's seen as legitimised.
 
I always think the far right are, first and foremost, about race.

An extreme form of self protectionism.

They believe in racial supremacy.

There’s these nazi supporters here in Russia and I can never get my head around it, they admire Hitler yet he and his nazi philosophy thought that Slavs were sub human and to conquered, enslaved and wiped out. Even stranger when you factor in that the defeat of nazi Germany is still a massive part of Russian identity. I have to say, whilst I’ve met the odd fellah with strong nationalistic views I’ve never knowingly met any nazis over here, just heard about them, but I’ve seen plenty of Hitler busts for sale on certain buy/sell websites.

This. Indeed it is backed up by mri scans of brain activity.

It should offer some consolation for those on the Left. We might have to share a world with these idiots and suffer from their actions, but at least we don’t go through life perpetually afraid of people who simply look or sound different but pose no actual threat. It must be exhausting.

But all with Nazi / racists ideology. Its like the Hitler Youth movement from the 1930s.
