Seen the mighty Boro finish off their 1st season in the top flight after 20 years & a very good season that promised so, so much & in the end achieved a very good 7th place finish, but we should have done more, the league, FAC, LC, Europe all within our grasp & one by one they fell away
26th April seen the Boro travel to Coventry to hopefully finish off the season in the same vein they started, with a win on the road
Which was achieved with the same scorers from the 1st opening match of the season, with goals from Alan Foggon netting his 18th of the season & Mr Middlesbrough John Hickton scoring his 11th of the campaign, taking both points back to Teesside & wondering what could & should have been
Big Jack team
Jim Platt - ever present
John Craggs - missed one game
Terry Cooper
Graeme Souness
Stuey Boam - ever present
Willie Maddren - ever present
Bobby Murdoch
David Mills
John Hickton
Alan Foggon
David Armstrong - ever present
