For a one off game. The same as finals , there's no reason for our walk up prices to be amongst the highest in the countryProves that theTeesside public can find the money when it suits

Because that has probably blown their budget for the rest of the season.

Play Off final, need to start saving for that.Or until the next big cup tie comes along
Remind me of your comments about our £12M player, then come back to me about that definition of stupidityWhen stupidity is mentioned your name comes to the fore - which is only right and proper
Shocking that like....Judging from some posts on Twitter, it looks like people were happy to pay £46 so they could tout the ticket on to others for £70
I think on that single point we could all agree. There is a first for you Nobby.Shocking that like....
Not fishing Fiesta I like to see myself as more of a Devils Advocate on this one and I think my point is a valid one. People will pay virtually anything when they sniff a bit of sporting glory.Exactly this. Don't get me wrong £46 is a disgrace but you don't need to be a genius to work out why someone might pay that to see Boro play away at one of the biggest clubs in the world and not be willing to pay £30 most weeks for league matches.
There's obviously a wider debate to be had (and has been had many times before) about how much walk up prices affect attendances. Also got to bear in mind Nobby is just fishing as per.
And make sure there is plenty of space between home and away fans.....10,000 of them. Not fishing Fiesta I like to see myself as more of a Devils Advocate on this one and I think my point is a valid one. People will pay virtually anything when they sniff a bit of sporting glory.
They simply aren't prepared to pay when it's midweek v Hull. That's why it's so important to protect the current pricing structure at the Riverside.....
At home to Reading the last 10 minutes alone were worth £46.Easy really, I'd rather pay an extra £15 to go to Old Trafford with 9500 other Boro fans than watch us play Reading
I know of at least 6 people ( in London) who were desperate to go to this game who haven't been to a home match all season. I am smiling at the fact that they are a bit disappointed to be honest. The regulars are favoured and that is how it should be.Not fishing Fiesta I like to see myself as more of a Devils Advocate on this one and I think my point is a valid one. That's the crux of it, if the team are doing well people will pay whatever. When they aren't doing well it doesn't matter what the walk up prices are they don't come anyway....Easy really, I'd rather pay an extra £15 to go to Old Trafford with 9500 other Boro fans than watch us play Reading
It was, same would be said again if we beat UnitedAt home to Reading the last 10 minutes alone were worth £46.
Which is fair enough, simple economics of supply and demand, that is just life really. That's the crux of it, if the team are doing well people will pay whatever. When they aren't doing well it doesn't matter what the walk up prices are they don't come anyway....
Thanks
I remember many years ago when the mighty Boro got to their 1st major cup final when with Chelsea our opponents in the ZDSHearing already that folk are selling them at a profit. Absolute scumbags ripping off fellow Boro fans.
It's one thing paying over the odds from faceless online touts or outside a ground.
Yet being a Boro fan who's only purchased in the last 24hrs and selling at double the price is shocking
