Thoughts from abroad...

Well watching from afar (Thailand) since Nov 19 - watched every game legally on ifollow - sometimes Boro dont show but the other team does - thats another example of the club been lazy and losing revenue) I feel so sorry for Woody - apart from the december blip when the team picked itself and genuinly pulled together in a crisis , the team dynamics are woeful at the moment . Some trying some clearly not up for it. Hopefully Roberts will change dynamics. Woody cannot go into next season whatever the state of play. A manager has to start somewhere and normally lower league will develop the man management skills... I guess most rookie managers who were great players fall by the wayside after 1 or 2 seasons as they do not cut the mustard... I really cringe at some of the sides woody puts out and especially the subs once we need to change the game.. Hopefully the penny has dropped and SG will instigate a change soon...

Why Gibbo put his faith in a untried rookie is a clear failing , yes it could have worked he could have been a Cloughie, but really was it a risk worth taking? Guess there was financial reasons for this season to be a transition and cost cutting so appointing Woody fell into that scenario.... Shame it hasnt worked out

Don’t get why people sorry for him. He is being paid handsomely to manage his ‘boyhood’ club, by doing this he is taking a team that finished 7th last year and taking us to league 1. Why should we just allow ourselves to get relegated without a change just so a Woodgate can build up his reputation as a manager in league 1 **** that. I want to stay up and if that means Woodgate losing his job. Then so be it.
Not that I think Gibson will make a change

Sorry he hasnt been able to learn the trade in a lower league

Well that’s not our problem. All I care about is Middlesbrough Football Club and his delusion and Gibson’s amateurish decision making is taking us down. Not really in the mood for thinking about Woodgates managerial choice of career route. He took the job knowing fine well it was probably to big for him.

Woodgate deserves no sympathy from anyone. It's completely his fault the team is as poor as it is.
