Title chasing:
#Nottm Forest - if they don't go up they'll be fighting for the title as they have a very good side.
Watford - parachute payments, pace and power
Sheff Utd - parachute payments will reduce, but not enough for a fire sale, they'll be strong, but can they keep Berge and will they get Sharp on the pitch enough?
Play offs chasers:
#Huddersfield - decent side, but will lose their parachute payments and down size. Will probably lose their star midfielder and LB too
Norwich - might have a relegation hangover, needs an overhaul as a club, only 4 or so left from last promotion first team. Can they keep Puuki?
Boro - steady side, need more consistency at either end of the pitch to push on
Wigan - will kick on after an excellent season
West Brom - should kick on, couldn't finish their chances last year but could push forward with a new CF
Midtable:
Luton - missed their big chance last year, will be hard to reproduce that
Burnley - transition season, parachute money eaten up by debt repayments
Sunderland - will invest and secure their place
Blackburn - seem to be in crisis a little, who willmanage them, which players will they have to sell
Millwall - steady season of 1-0 wins and 1-0 defeats
QPR - spent big on wages last year, will have to sell to keep above the financial barriers
Coventry - could push for a play off spot if they can tighten up at the back and get some midfield goals
Stoke - overpaid squad of mediocre players
Swansea - got an identity and way of playing, but not got the squad to really land with it
Blackpool - steady again
Hull - will invest ad might be top half
Relegation fighting:
Preston - sliding
Bristol - financial issues will mean they sell their better players
Reading - if they lose Joao then they're done for
Cardiff - poor squad
Rotherham - top league one side, poor championship side
Birmingham - relegation beckons
This is largely with the current squads, and a few known/expected departures. What we don't know is investment. To jump up or down from these zones.
