Ticketing Problems on Saturday

Did anyone encounter any trouble at the ticket offices on Saturday? In particular the east stand ticket office.

They had a system problem applying credit in accounts and also are suffering badly due to staff shortages due to covid. Things are extremely busy they just ask for everyone's patience pleasr

It was an absolute shambles outside the North east corner with queues of people getting in as tickets didn’t work. Any sensible person would’ve opened the exit and checked tickets to get them in.

My season card didn't work for entry or a drink. Long queue at the north office for paper replacements and at the concourse kiosk the supervisor had a long list of cards which hadn't worked to pass on after the game.

When stood in that long queue I wondered why they couldn't have some handheld terminals (like CostCo do, for example) but there might usually be a handful of issues like this with dud cards on a typical matchday, all bundled up into a large group after 18 months off.

There were some aggressive scenes from stewards at the east ticket office area. I had to warn a steward to stay away from us because he was becoming increasingly threatening. I’ll be writing to the club to express my issues with them, I was just intrigued to see if there were similar scenes at the other ticket offices.

That doesn’t really cut it Rob. Around 100+ fans missed the build up and kick off after an 18 month wait. There were other issues but I’ll keep them to the complaint letter.

I was in the queue at the east stand for about 20 minutes, saw a little bit of aggression from a couple of fans and also a few people trying to push in. But nothing major, I got a paper ticket for the game. The queue yesterday to get my season card sorted out took longer.

What time was that?

Apologies my internet went down. Just as I was about to ask Neil Warnock some questions - I emailed the ticketing manager yesterday and gave him some of the complaints from this site and others - his reply was to ask for patience.
They had a glitch in the system relating to people using their Boro ticketing credit to pay and this then had a knock on effect.
They have worked around that now but it might mean people cannot use their credit at this time. If you want to use your credit you will need to call the ticket office (not use online) - but and here is the second apology - things are extremely busy and there will be delays due in no small part to a lot of absences due to covid.
They are all working flat out and hope everyone will be patient.

No problem. I have no qualms with the ticket office staff. The lady that served us was courteous and clearly under pressure.
