Time to say goodbye to Woodgate.

Just played the bottom 2 . Didn't manage a goal and I dont think we had a shot on target.
Lost them both a have been dragged back into a really poor position in the league after today's results.
He can't motivate them and a new manager needs games to be effective.
I like the man but hes not up to it.

I don’t like him - get him out now!

Son is at the match . Says we were terrible and Gestede is arguing with our crowd .

It's so predictable.. it's like going through the stages of grief really.

Denial and anger are out of the way at least. 😐

At least we don't have to put up with Acceptance ,come on Gibbo act now.

I feel he will leave before the end of the season or at least someone more experienced come in and give him a hand. A bit like Veneables with Robson.

I don't see someone coming in to help him like Venables did. That just simply doesn't really happen anymore. It'd totally undermine Woodgate making it pointless for him to stay as 'manager'.

Yep Gibson surely has no choice now. This appointment hasn't worked. In fact nothing has worked from top to bottom since he got rid of Karanka. Agnew failed. Monk failed. Pulis failed.
Woodgate is failing harder than either of the previous 3.
I fear it's too late to be saved now though. 3 points away from 3rd bottom, 6 from 2nd bottom and the teams below us are all picking up points at the right places.

Let's be honest he's going nowhere and he'll be here next season in league one. This is as depressing as it was in 85 with Willie Maddren, but at least then we didn't have millionaire players laughing at us😡

Let's say he pulls the trigger. Do you trust him to get someone decent in?

To be honest anybody with some fresh approach. It can be temporary but when you approach a crisis you need to make tough decisions. Then we can reassess in the summer - whatever League we are in. I am sat in traffic on the M1 as there's an issue. Feel so miserable right now

I certainly wouldn't trust Woodgate and Keane to have us chasing promotion in league one, but the problems run deeper than the management and coaching imho. We have used a scatter gun approach to buying players since 2016 and it is coming home to roost.

Wasted another day out watching the boro, i cant for the love of me see what hes trying to do with this team, they seem like they dont do any training on anythink, just going through the actions on the pitch, it looks like theyre not trying for woodgate maybe he has lost the dressing room.

I'm not sure what's going on. Boro were dreadful today. Woodgate got the job based on a style of football that has been abandoned. Monk was sacked for exactly the same.

I can't see any reason to keep him, I genuinely wanted him to do well and would have been happy with the mid-table position if we'd maintained some kind of form after the purple patch but all we have done is demonstrate how poor we really are game after game.

Surely nobody can look at the football played of late against the bottom teams and be happy? Woody doesn't seem to know his best or strongest team, has no plan B when it clearly isn't working and starts to unravel and lacks the nous to make subs that can at least stabilize or change things when it does.

Disappointed but he can't be allowed to go on.
