Traore on loan???

Always thought #10 would suit him best, his strong point is running at players, 5-20m edge of the box would be frenzied..

He'll get a PL loan easily enough, though would certainly have him at Boro again..

Coburn has the potential to score more than anyone we have or been linked with imo and a lot of people want to loan him out, so why would we take a player that would cost all our transfer budget that has no history of scoring goals and play him out of position?

I don't think anyone has seen enough of Coburn to say that he can score more than Armstrong or Gayle.

The move to Barca has been a bit of a poor one for him, they don’t want him and no other top teams that were linked previously seem to not be interested anymore either.

A few problems with him: he never scores, he never creates a chance, he is vastly overrated.

He made MFC a lot of cash, good luck to him when he signs for Derby.

He's good at football. But he is not a good footballer.
When he hasn't got the ball he just stands still looking at the play.
If the ball is on the opposite wing he rarely comes inside to be able to finish off a move.
He had a good season under Pulis, but before and after his overall footballing ability has been given a(n)by several coaches

No no and thrice no. If you have any aspirations of promotion then a show pony who will beat ten men then disappear up is own arze is not someone you should be thinking of. I think there’s an awful lot of Boro fans remember Traoré through rose tinted glasses.

Bags of power and pace but not blessed with a footballing brain I.m.o. He like a perpetual Emnes Project.

The best place for a player who likes running at pace is out wide. A no 10 role is in a more congested area and needs more craft

Exactly. Cant believe people could even suggest traore is a number 10. It’s a position for an intelligent football brain. Unfortunately something that traore will never have…and I’m a fan!

I can certainly agree with that, however, he's got more than just pace, his dribbling is very good & central he'll draw more fouls & so freekicks & pens..

I remember the game against spurs in the Prem , we were looking at getting hammered then enter traore and we could of beaten them had he been in longer . He made the middle of the pitch less congested be runnging straight through it . I hope he finds a manager that can find his best role but at the moment he could see his career our never achieving much . He’d probably do better playing in a side in the bottom half and play more often but his wages will probably hold his career back in terms of game time .

Prem player in every aspect except for his goal scoring ability. Plenty of teams will be looking to see if they can loan or maybe buy.
