Travelodge-long term deals

Anybody know if chain hotels are open to long term deals, thinking a student may need 2 nights per week accommodation, but over a sustained period of many weeks, would a chain hotel be open to negotiations do you think??

in my experience of working away from home a local hotel is more likely to do a deal than a chain. My experiences with airbnb haven't been good unless your willing to pay a lot more than student rates. go on somewhere like booking.com to find hotels and private accommodation and ring around would be my advice.

I think some travelodges do some kind of deals with local authorities to house vulnerable people. The one at the old infirmary site in boro was really iffy when I stayed last year.

Never had any problems anywhere else and not sure if that was related to covid or not

My daughter has been in a travelodge for the last 2 weeks, paid for by her uni until they arranged her some accommodation.

Holgate, if you get stuck, give Steve Tradewell a call at True Budget Accom.
He arranges hotel rooms for contractors and merchandisers.
His number is 01482 679101
He is based near Hull, but he arranges accommodation nationwide.

local hotels can be great long term they will go out of their way to make you comfortable, far more enjoyable than a bland Travelodge.

Last time I stayed in a travel lodge was in the shower pulled the shower curtain and a big boogey/phlegm stretched between two on the bends in the curtain …

Definitely need to take a bigger plate for the breakfast buffet 😂
i spent 2 years in the same hotel in a one horse town only coming home for weekends, its really difficult eating rich pub grub every day, i had put on a couple of stone by the time the job finished.
