Personally, I don't want politics decided by the barrel of a gun. Had Trump been killed it would likely have led to widespread unrest and even more violence. Bullet dodged literally and figuratively.
In an ideal world this might lead to a winding down of some of the more unhinged rhetoric that surrounds the MAGA election campaign but, unfortunately, it's likely to just make things worse.
It'll be interesting to see if there's any motive unearthed and where the shooter was getting his politics from. The internet could have been such a force for good but far too much content is driving division. Not sure what the answer is, though.

The fat controllers are much the same everywhere. I was mainly thinking of your everyday working people. Just that their “programming” is somewhat different from ours.

Is it possible that the bullet could be caught on film like that? I’ve had a look on Twitter and there’s all sorts of ‘information’ doing the rounds, from how long the bullet trail would be for a camera filming at ‘x’ fps, or how the camera would have needed to be filming at ‘y’ fps to even catch a glimpse of the bullet trail, to people saying there is no ‘publicly available’ camera that could pick up something so small travelling so fast?

Dunno, haven't tried to do the maths ... and it's sort of complicated because with video, each frame is made of two fields which are interlaced...and there's a rolling shutter in a lot of cases. Obvs after 130 meters the bullet may have slowed down some, as well as having a fraction of velocity taken off by Trump's ear. What I'm saying is, despite knowing about cameras, I have no idea if this is genuinely the bullet, but I have no reason to doubt it.
When we use high speed film cameras we can film a bullet in slow mo, no problem, so the last point is bllx.
