Trump to issue between 50 and 100 pardons - FOX

President Trump is expected to issue between 50 and 100 commutations and pardons before he leaves office this week, two sources familiar with the list told Fox News.

The sources told Fox News that the announcement of the pardons will likely come in one large batch on Tuesday, but there is a slight chance the White House will wait to make them official Wednesday morning. The president has until noon on Wednesday to do so.

A complete affront to democracy and it is disgusting that there aren't any check procedures through the senate to at least justify and ratify these pardons.
How is it possible that a corrupt president protects himself and his friends from prosecution out of office?
 
I believe that this is pretty much par for the course, Clinton issued something like 150 as he left.

It probably needs looking at though. The biggest thing that they could do is remove the weighting towards the Southern States that has existed since the Civil War that tips the balance towards the right of centre by making those votes more valuable than many other states.

CNN reporting earlier that they'd been told that Trump hadn't included himself in the list of pardons at that time. Possibly dawned on him that it wouldn't make any difference and that Giuliani would **** it up anyway
 
Let's be honest here, some of these pardons will be paid for. Trump is transactional so if it's not for their silence then it'll be for money.
If they are cash for pardons then I hope they are well hidden because they'll likely be picked up in one of the many investigations that the Trump organisation will face in the near future.
 
I’m surprised he is allowed to operate in any capacity now and hopefully any pardon will get relooked at and if appropriate overturned.
 
I think the number is lower than previous pardons, but the people/crimes being pardoned and the way they have been selected is far from the established norms.

it will come as no surprise that there is a "cash for pardon" instigation going on (or about to kick off)
