USA shooting down something at 40000ft over Alaska

Taken from the below linked article ….

It was described as "cylindrical and silver-ish gray" and seemed to be floating, a U.S. official said.

Asked if was "balloon-like," the official said, "All I say is that it wasn't 'flying' with any sort of propulsion, so if that is 'balloon-like' well -- we just don't have enough at this point."

The truth is out there :alien:

It's the balloon mother ship. Dropping balloon packages below it which self deploy then do the recon and send back data to the mothership. Only this ship has the tech to send on the data via satellite. The weather balloons look like balloons so when the US review the debris they should walk away unconcerned. However the real story is in this debris of the mother ship and once inspected they will kick up a real fuss.
I just made this up by the way but I'm miffed the cat got me up much earlier than I intended and there's a lot of time to fill til the match starts and this is my chosen distraction for the next hour. Don't shoot me down please

Yeah……but….. did you reeeeeeeealllyyyy make it up….
Come on now, spill the beans. You know something….

I was watching US News last night and there were lots of very earnest and serious American men in uniforms or stiff business suits saying "we are under attack" Quite frightening what little in takes to make them aggressive.

I mean they literally are, their airspace is being violated by unscheduled surveillance objects; constant cybercrime and ransomware etc, don't need to fire bullets to weaken your enemies

This one really has me puzzled. From the various reports it defies laws of aviation and physics in general, also reports I have seen online is the missile exploded which means it had enough mass to trigger the sensors on the missile(the missile that shot down the balloon apparently didn't detonate on impact). There have been no mention of wings(rules out glider or drone), and it has been stated that it didn't appear to have any means of propulsion and reports it interfered with the sensors on the fighter jets sent to investigate.
It's crazy times when the most logical solution is an alien craft 😂.
On a serious note these objects are flying at general aviation height, and it appears already that two have been discovered(and shot down) which increases the probability that more of them are about, and if reports are to be believed they are not easy to track it gets more likely that a collision with a civilian aircraft is a possibility or one of them falling out of the sky which may also be interpreted as an attack in a member state, which in turn could trigger NATO article 5 and send us to war.
Somebody or some nation is playing a very dangerous game which could have very dangerous consequences for the world in general.

not that I’m a cynic but when this hit the news (balloons and flying objects) I had this sudden urge to play that “for mash get smash” video from the 1970s. It really is that hilarious.
