Velogames 2023 - Vuelta Now Open for Entries! 🇪🇸 🚴🏿‍♂️

Well the Giro finished on a major high after what was a pretty disappointing one for the first two weeks and many lost riders early in the race. MCW who was in the top 10 worldwide in week 1 lost half his team and dropped like a stone thereafter. Well done to Mike who is our winner and one of the few who actually had Thomas in his team. Duck and BL259 take up podium positions.

Mike is not of this parish. I look forward to him lording it over me later in the week. 👍

Like most, I lost significant riders, so quite content with another podium. Mike managed to have his 3 main GC contenders there at the finish. Good effort.

Cardiff is the latest to join the 4 wins club this season with his top place in the Dauphine. Dropped away from his blistering first half but not enough to prevent victory.

It is called "Velogame 2023" - and not the TDF, a result of the fall out a couple of years ago. A few of us are already in the FMTTM league by the looks of it.

A few key choices - how many / which of the expensive favourites can you fit into a team?

Already changed it about 6 times. I have a very weird collection of riders now.
I always whack a provisional team in just to make sure I'm signed up with the intention of going back and tinkering it. But then I can't bring myself to change it. All the "what ifs?" kick in.

I wonder how many teams will squeeze in both Vingegaard and Pog.
I hope the field isn't decimated by crashes/covid in the first week. At least we should get some proper racing in the first 2 days.
Pretty happy with my squad, but it's totally different from the provisional team I put in. Hopefully much better.
I'm usually pretty good at finding good point scoring 4 credit riders .... I have none this year.
