Is it just fans putting two and two together and assuming Kim will want him here?

I'd seen something on a Facebook boro fan page.

Are there actually any linked rumours or articles anybody has seen?
 
Apparently his agents have been at Rockliffe this week which might be a coincidence.

Some suggestions that he won't qualify for a work permit however.
 
Hammarby fans rate him higher than the championship...heading more towards champions League teams so it would be a massive coup if we got him. If we'd been promoted then definitely.
 
European footballers are no longer exempt from UK immigration laws and must now obtain a Governing Body Endorsement (GBE) from The FA to qualify for an International Sportsperson visa. The system evaluates players on three main pathways.
  • Auto-Pass: Players with regular, top-tier international caps and recent senior national team appearances.
  • Points-Based System: Players need to score ≥15 points across categories like international appearances, club domestic minutes, and the strength of their previous league. Players scoring 10–14 may appeal to an Exceptions Panel.
  • Elite Significant Contribution (ESC): Available to younger players (born on or after Jan 1, 2003) who fall short of the points threshold but show elite potential. Premier League/Championship clubs can register up to four ESC players, while League One/Two clubs get two.

Additionally, clubs are restricted from signing foreign players under the age of 18, and squads are capped at a maximum of three international under-21 signings per season.


I presume the Swedish league doesn't get that many points....
 
Victor Kim Ludwig Eriksson, well we signed a 3 barrel name player, so why not a 4.. I'm betting he'd be our first Ludwig..
 
Why are people assuming we’re going to sign another centre back? Edmundson is still around and the young lad Hunt. Ayling, Malanda, Jones, Edmundson and Hunt. The priority in defence has to be left back.

Hunt - missed nearly all of 2025 injured and still young and not tested in championship, Ayling will be 35 in August, Edmunson defo not good enough, Jones recovering from a long term injury and then suffered another injury at WC.

Edmundson - Water carrier
Hunt - Unrproven, coming back from bad injury, suspect attitide
Ayling - Not getting any younger
Malanda - Definite starter
Jones - Definite starter if fit but still coming back from a bad injury and a World Cup

We absolutely need one more proven CB at the peak of their powers to compete.
