For all the middle-aged vox-pop groupies on high streets whenever he slips up, spouting "He's getting the job done," (with no actual cases in point) this just fuels their fantasies that anyone has a chance with the big galoot.
 
I thought it was pretty common knowledge that they'd been caught en flagrante in his office by an MP, what I don't think is as well known, and one of the reasons why Johnson was so keen to promote her and give her the Chief of Staff role was that she had been caught in similar circumstances with another married Conservative Cabinet Minister at around the same time, this time by a senior Spad rather than an MP.

People within Johnson's staff informed his wife of the affair thinking it was wholly out of order and the last thing she needed whilst undergoing Chemotherapy, Johnson assumed his wife would relent and allow him to return to the familial home it was only when it became clear that this wasn't going to happen that he turned his attention to Symonds fully, Johnson nor Symonds were liked by those they encountered during his time in the FO, him for his laziness, lack of discipline and failure to close out tasks, her for her pushiness, interference and inability to do her job properly.

Almost makes me feel sympathy for the Tory MP who lost his job for looking at porn. How was his "workplace activity" worse than this?!

Alexander is one of those cowardly men who doesn't have the guts to leave a relationship so instead makes his behaviour so awful that it forces his partner to dump him.

Oh well the story is out now. Trending on Twitter and James OB discussing on LBC. I wonder if any papers or ITV news take the story up?
 
Just the latest example of Johnson's behaviour. It shouldn't be a surprise. It's astonishing that he's been in the positions he has during his life.
