I’d say prob not yes a few full blooded 50/50s but nothing too severe

so the yellow card count was ludicrous

They all came about because the referee booked Taylor very very early and that set the precedent.

Every little foul after that was always going to be a likely booking.

I still think the Jones booking qas ridiculous when a ref is so blinded about booking the one who comes 2nd to the ball, TBH, if the ref is to book anyone at all he should book em both

Wouldn't say a single one of ours was a yellow card, and I only wanted theirs to be yellows because of how many he was dishing out to us.

They caught us on the break a lot and we left big gaps in the centre that they kept exploiting. It meant a lot of professional fouls early in the game.

The ref was shocking the other way mind. Some inconsistency but we can’t moan too much about our yellows. I said at half time that we would have to take a bit of control otherwise we would get at least one sent off.

ref again spoiled the game with needless cards but when cards were needed he backed down. Our penna decision -- probably one of the most blatant fouls of the game was waved away.

I actually think VAR would have also given Jones a pen earlier in the game when he went flying over the advancing keeper.

Taylor seemed to set the tone after his retaliation. On another day a very fussy ref might have sent him off for putting his hands on a player.

10 cards and not even a dirty match,if that was in the 70s or 80s there wouldn't have been a single card.
