WASPI women can do one.

Yet another thing the labour party pledged they would do when in power but backtracked on. They did the same with the farmers last week now this week they onto the Waspi women who's going to be the target next week. They are just full of lies

I think most Labour voters were in support of the farmer’s inheritance tax change… It’s about time we got the rich paying their fair share of tax.

I don't recall anywhere where Labour pledged to the farmers that they can make at least £3milion tax free. I accept that many Labour MP's promised the waspi women support and backed their campaign.

He litteraly said at the 2023 NFU farmers conference he had no intention of changing tax rules for farmers and got support from the industry. Then 12 months later is in number 10 and introduces the new tax policy 🙄

This change is one of many that has taken place over my lifetime as a potential state pensioner. I reckon I’ve seen at least the following:
Two changes to my own projected eligibility age;
The replacement of the old state pension with the new state pension;
The coming and the going of SERPS, and, in between, various tinkering around the rules for opting out;
A change in the number of qualifying years from 44 to 30 to 35;
Repeated changes in the rules for paying for top up years;
The equalisation of annuity rates for men and women;
The equalisation of the projected state pension eligibility age for men and women.

I have been aware to a greater or lesser extent of all of them, even the last which doesn’t personally affect me. Several have probably affected me adversely or at least required a change of plan. They’re not an outrage though. They’re governments doing what governments have to do over the last 40 years. They have probably changed various tax rates affecting me hundreds of times too. It happens. You adjust your plans. Labour was stupid making noises that amounted to an unfunded and frankly unjustified promise to “right” what doesn’t at several levels appear to be a wrong to me. But they’re in the right place now in my view.

How is taxing family farms hitting the rich though that's the trouble it doesn't
The wild thing is that people think that farms that are hit by this aren't the rich

There is a reason Clarkson bought a farm and it wasn't to drive around in a tractor with a ginger bloke for a few weeks a year. James Dyson too.
