Boomers won the generational lottery.

Asking Millennials, the first generation in over two centuries that will have a worse standard of living than the one that preceded them, to foot the bill for another benefit they'll never see is the real disgrace.
 
Social media is full of pictures of Labour MPs supporting WASPI and criticising the Tories for not acting on compensation.

Seeng those pictures and the subsequent abandoning of promises made should make people like Councillor Blades feel a deep sense of shame.

The fact that he doesn’t tells me all I need to know about his character.

Are you a WASPI? You seem very upset. I'm sorry for your loss, or more correctly your lack of gain.

Every single politician that has ever lived would end up "not fit to represent" based on your judgement. It's what they do. Once you understand this, I am sure you can then have a clear mind to realise that throwing £10b away over this is wrong on every level.

I’m a man, how could I be a WASPI?

I am upset that we have a government lacking integrity and decency, yes, as should you be.

Gets me a bit annoyed that sort of thought. I'm a boomer and worked 7 nights a week, in some cases 7 x 12 hour shifts for 4 months on the bounce then 6 weeks of days then 4 month of the same nights again (they let me start late 1 hour on a Saturday 7pm and 11 pm on a Tuesday for the match). Contracting and even working on a price at times.

I only sat down for a living at 55 years old with an office job, but never sat on my hands. I could go on and on, but I think that's just life, as there was nothing left as I left school under Thatcher. You can train to be just about about anything with bells on these days.

I've worked hard and never won any lottery at any stage of my working life.

I don't know if you are a man or a woman but you do come across as angry.

You seem to be holding the current government to higher standards than those is the past.

Personally I think it's the correct decision. I too don't like how this has happened, but hey, that's politics. I think we need change and accountability but I don't see that happening any time soon
