Well done Alex Scott

Sometimes it's better to not comment as it risks revealing things that you might regret revealing.
Alex Scott, as the presenter of Football Focus (not just a guest), has made a stand that many, many people think is not only right, but also brave in what still is a misogynistic world. She will receive positive comments for her actions as a result.
Questioning that praise, particularly without any sort of context to illustrate your thoughts, will leave you open to being seen as part of that misogynistic world.
One could even say that adding context now is far too late and that misogyny boat has sailed with yet another passenger onboard who, if they had taken the time to either think or type more than 3 letters, might not be looking like a bit of an idiot.

I hope they are all docked pay for refusing to do their job. I would be sacked.

That's pretty nasty.

They are showing solidarity with somebody whose position they respect and in a situation they find unfair. You can consider it removal of their labour.

I'm sorry you don't have the same opportunity in your work. Have you thought about joining a union and raising the standards for all rather than partaking in a race to the bottom?

I'd have thought you might understand the concept of solidarity. Afterall, others including myself have shown you much solidarity (and will continue to) on this board with your own struggles.

Come on mate.

I seriously appreciate the support I have from this place, way more than I can say, but I hate unions and hate the "let us strike mentality"
Each to their own and my opinion is not for every one, but unions, are not for me. Here I am in a political debate and a place I don't want to be in :D

I will say again, if Labour were in power the last 12+ years, would we see any difference.. I think 100% not!

edit - why is it nasty? They aren't working so why should they get paid?
