Where are PM, Chancellor?

Don't worry, Jacob Rees **** face is continuing to work hard at his culture wars with the Civil Service. A valuable use of his and Civil Servant's time and resources I'm sure.

Obviously they didn't have Flexi time in Victoria England so I can see why the whole concept confuses him 🙄

Something about Victorian flexi-time amused me Festa!

As some one who has worked in the civil service (dwp) you will see the largest exodus you have ever seen if they go after flexi.

You're right of course. He doesn't have a clue what he's talking about though. It'll never happen.

A lot of people are only putting up with the **** of working under this government because of family friendly policies like flexi time. They take that away a lot of people will be forced to leave due to caring commitments etc.

There'd also be quite a high risk of discrimination claims I'd think too, given it would disproportionately affect women.

He's an idiot playing to a very specific audience. He doesn't have the capability or will to push it through. Great for staff engagement though and it'll further enrage the unions. Almost as if he wants the CS to go on strike isn't it?

Isn't Rees-Mogg playing at politics a bit. He has been an mp since 1997 and never held a "proper" ministerial post. I wouldn't count brexit opportunities or leader of the house. Is he patiently waiting for elevation to the HoL? Prolly.

Sadly as he cozied up to liz early on along with mad mad I think he may well get one of the plumb posts possibly foreign sec or even home office.

I don't know if he'd want one of those jobs. He'd probably take it, but part of me suspects he likes being the disrupter or **** stirrer too much. He's also actually pretty lazy, so might not fancy the extra work it'd entail.

I have the misfortune of working for Cabinet Office and he literally does do **** all. Doesn't even take his box home at the end of the week. The only minister I've ever come across who doesn't. Stuff gets held up with him all the time. It's a joke.

Thanks for the insight and confirming what we suspected.

I just think his ego won’t be able resist a proper cabinet post.

If a Labour PM and Chancellor were on holiday during an economic crisis like this the Mail, Telegraph, Express, Sun et al would be incandescent with rage and full of holiday pics of them drinking, sunbathing or whatever. Missing in inaction
Let’s not forget Ed milliband only real transgression was that he ate a bacon sarnie in an odd way.

Yep that was it and he was crucified for it.

Imagine that eh.

Even now if you type milliband into google
