Who will Replace Dan Walker on Football Focus?

Where’s he going then b
He's doing the NFL coverage now, isn't he? Maybe too much on his plate. Won't be missed however, Football Focus has been terrible for a long time and a lot of the Beeb's football coverage is in need of refreshing.

i actually don't mind him. He’s inoffensive, knows his football and has managed to pull off some good interviews. He’s miles better than Colin Miurray who I can’t abide.

I reckon the BBC is grooming Jermaine Jenas for that role, but if you've ever had the misfortune of watching that atrocious MOTDx spin-off you'll know that this is a mistake.
Agree with that but wasn’t Lineker a mistake. I haven’t watched MOTD for years.

You're not missing much in all honestly. It's a pretty stale program and I can't really see how the BBC justify the £80m per year keeping it going, especially as more and more people appear to be watching highlights and goals on social media before it even airs. I get the impression many wouldn't care if it disappeared from the BBC.

Maybe spend that money on some live sport instead.

I ain't watched football focus or MOTD for years. Its almost redundant since you can watch all the goals before hand on a phone.

I simply don't watch any BBC content other than Line of Duty. I am very much in the 'why do I pay a tv licence? ' camp.

I hope he's not doing the NFL coverage, he's terrible at it - zero chemistry with Osi & Jason..

Thought he was ok with FF though more suited to Breakfast..

FF, Scott is a good pundit.. maybe give a go as lead presenter.. I'm no fan of GL though he's able.

TBF to MOTD.. I like the highlights, often glaze over or FF the post match interviews & stunted cherry picked studio 'analysis' as a format the highlights are way better imho than just watching goals.. which are the last seconds of good football..
