Which bands/artists did your folks play when you were a nipper

that have resonated with you ever since and become nostalgic choices of your own?

For me:
The Police
Queen/Freddy Mercury
Phil Collins
Simply Red
Chris Isaak

My Dad owned this VHS tape and I remember watching it aged 7 or 8.

Probably was the first time I'd ever seen a rock band but I was blown away and mesmerised by Freddie Mercury.

Whatever was on Radio 2 in the 60s. My old man would turn it up whenever some country & western tune came on. Consequently I can't stand that rhinestone cowboy stuff.

The main one my mam used to have on in the car was the last Queen album which was more of a Freddy Mercury solo album. Some absolutely brilliant tunes on there that I still love to this day.

My Dad was

Guns N Roses
Led Zeppelin
ACDC
Black Sabbath
Meatloaf
Pink Floyd
Metallica
Aerosmith
Scorpions
Journey

Probably a few more

My mam was Abba and Bangles.

Andy Williams
Scott Walker
Glenn Campbell
David Essex
Elvis
The Platters
The Stones
Grandad used to play his Glenn Miller, George Formby albums and his Military Marches.
