My Dad went through a big Simply Red phase. I don't think he ever listens to them now.that have resonated with you ever since and become nostalgic choices of your own?
For me:
The Police
Queen/Freddy Mercury
Phil Collins
Simply Red
Chris Isaak
The main one my mam used to have on in the car was the last Queen album which was more of a Freddy Mercury solo album. Some absolutely brilliant tunes on there that I still love to this day.My Dad owned this VHS tape and I remember watching it aged 7 or 8.
Probably was the first time I'd ever seen a rock band but I was blown away and mesmerised by Freddie Mercury.

Are you referring to Made in Heaven? The main one my mam used to have on in the car was the last Queen album which was more of a Freddy Mercury solo album. Some absolutely brilliant tunes on there that I still love to this day.
R2 wasn't introduced until 1967. Created with R1 to replace the BBC Light Programme.Whatever was on Radio 2 in the 60s. My old man would turn it up whenever some country & western tune came on. Consequently I can't stand that rhinestone cowboy stuff.
