Exactly this....people in this country don't realise how serious other countries take this and think it's political and it isn't. Put a decent song in, like last year, and people do listen.

Last year showed that it isn't Europe out to get the UK, we can do well with a winning combination of song and singer.

We all had hopes for the UK after the lack of bangers. But Mae Miller was terrible.

She had everything going for her - great stage visuals, decent song, hot crowd, but she just didn’t sound good singing live. I wasn’t sure her mic was on half the time.

Mae Miller performed OK, but the song itself was dire. The BBC have written a long article asking why she finished next-to-last, but they dont really mention that the song was rubbish.

Finland were hilarious and the Aussies were great, and Norway was most catchy. Those were my 3 favourites.

Just seen the details of the Public vote. Not one country gave Sweden 12! UK gave 12 points to Finland of course.

Mae Muller’s voice wasn’t powerful enough and she spoke many of the lyrics, which surely counts against you in a song contest. Didn’t get the love for Sweden!
