Wilder favourite for Blackpool Manager [Gazette]

I'd say it's a step down from every prem job he thinks he should have 😂

Jokes aside....he moaned about the lack of investment and failure to land targets at Boro. I don't see them spending much more than 1mil on a player. I just can't see him going to them.

I mean Blackpool couldn't sign a 'development' forward like Forss never mind Gayle.

I look forward to seeing Wilder back in management. Something clearly went wrong here and started to effect his decision making process. It will be interesting to see what he does with a fresh start and if he can maintain his tactics over time.

Quite some comedown for him, to think he was considering the possibility of taking on a Premier League job less than a year ago and now may be managing Blackpool (no disrespect to the club).

Although I'm glad that he's no longer at our club, I'm prepared to give him the benefit of doubt at the moment, as he hasn't come out and criticised the club in the media (yet).

Maybe he will use the experience he had with us and learn from it. I'd like to think it has humbled him and he may be less stubborn with regards to the formation and other things in future.

I reckon he will be on a decent wage at Boro and in no rush to come back (unlike when he left Sheff Utd). His stock has no doubt fallen and less in demand, but I'm sure he will still be ambitious and want to prove everyone wrong!?!
