Wilder vs Fury

Any predictions, thoughts, musings?

Is that eye going to open up?
Any chance of Fury scoring a knock down?
Will Wilder be more composed?

I think an early knock out for Wilder Round 3. Can't see past his power. I also think the first fight will have been more beneficial for Wilder than Fury.

I got to admit, it's wide open. I can only see two potential outcomes. Wilder KO or Fury on points.

I'm going to go with Fury.

I really hope Fury does the business. His story is incredible already, but it would be phenomenal if he wins this one.

Hope Tyson can do it and he has every chance but so does Wilder, Tyson will outbox Wilder as he’s far superior but the problem is he has to do that for every minute of every round because Wilder could KO him at any moment, For me it’s one of my most anticipated heavyweight fights for years, I can’t wait for it.

I'm surprised by the number of people that think Fury is going to stop Wilder. Wilder's never been stopped nor does Fury often stop his opponents.

Hope I'm wrong but I can see no other outcome than a Wilder knockout. I think the knockdown in the first fight will do more to encourage Wilder as he now knows he has the power to knock him over. I predict an early finish, rounds 1-3.

Apparently the reason for Fury’s change in trainer is all about improving his power.

I think Fury’s more popular in the US than a lot of British fighters, I don’t think the Vegas judges will favor Wilder too much over him like they have done foreign fighters in the past. He can definitely get a decision over there.

Just watched the first fight again and Fury won 10 rounds clearly. Wilder can clearly bang and Fury got caught with some great punches but he was no way ready for the fight physically. I think he is now and will be throwing faster and more importantly more jabs, crosses and straight rights. Plus with greater fitness/training his reactions with be better. I really do think Fury will win and it may be by KO as I don't think Wilder has been under the kind of relentless pressure Fury will excerpt, even in the first fight.

This is one I will be paying the £20 for. I know Fury isn't the nicest man in the world, judging from his previous utterances on gays and women but there is something about him that I kind of like. Plus him against AJ would spectacular.

I think the knockout stuff is kidology from Fury. Don't see a knockout by him at all. I think the game plan will be the same as the first fight, with the intention of not giving the judges a chance to knock points of his card, by avoiding the knockdowns.

After watching the first fight again, there were times when Wilder looked like he could go over, either with exhaustion or from a big combination. Just think Fury will have the same speed if not more than last time after all that time out. He looks heavier, fitter and a hell of a lot stronger than last time. Looking forward to it in any case.
