Halve a pack of new potatoes into a roasting dish with 2 roughly chopped onions and half a dozen cloves of garlic. Salt, pepper and a good olive oil, and roast in the oven for 20 minutes.

at 20 mins add a whole sliced (about 1/4”) spicy Chorizo and bake for another 20 mins, tossing occasionally.

after another 20 minutes add 3 chicken breasts or 6 boneless chicken thighs, dusted with paprika or cayenne and dried oregano. Keep tossing the whole lot.

after an hour in total, add a couple of red or yellow peppers, in big chunks for a final 20 minutes. Keep mixing the ingredients.

serve with broccoli (if you can find any)

Your timings don’t add up

Sounds nice though, might try it.
 
Here’s on of mine to try:

1 x frying pan, 1 x casserole dish.

Put some veg oil in casserole dish and heat, add thinly sliced onion, peppers and crushed garlic and sweat down stirring. In frying pan fry smoked bacon lardons in a little veg oil and add to casserole (or you can do them in the casserole dish if you want). Add chopped mushrooms to casserole dish. Keep stirring. Brown off 8 chicken thighs (on the bone) in frying pan. Add 350ml water and 1 tin butter beans and 1 tin 5 bean mix (both drained) to casserole dish. Sprinkle in a chilli mix packet and continue stirring. Add in chicken thighs. Smoked Paprika, small squirt tomato purée. Fry off diced chorizo (or chopped up sausage) in frying pan and add to casserole dish. Season with a little Salt and pepper in casserole dish and as much cayenne spice as you like.Microwave 2 x packs long grain rice and add to casserole dish. Stir thoroughly. Cover casserole dish with lid and place in preheated oven at about 180 for 45mins. )is suggest keep an eye on it so doesn’t dry out too much) . Remove from oven and take out chicken thigh bones, breaking up the meat as you do so. Mix meat back into dish. Serve.

All the above is approximate so play with it as you wish. I never follow recipes and usually just play it by ear when cooking stuff and work to taste as I go. Hence the above is a rough approximation.
