Woodgate…

Probably is a bit of Schadenfreude in that post, but I don't blame him if so. Things weren't going great under Carrick at the end, and I think it was right to make a change in the summer, but of course anyone who effectively gets sacked twice by the club (and also his pal Leadbitter) may feel it's a case of "careful what you wish for" when you lump on a new team and they leave you high and dry.

Yep, great player, I think I'm right on saying he played centre Mid for Marton till late? Quite a few scouts had had a look at him, then Leeds stepped in and took him quite late on....slipped through the net as a kid that one.

He was at Boro as a youth for a few years, until he was 16 I think.
Then he went to Leeds.

Was he? Didn't realise, my mates a coach at Marton and it was a conversation we had...but it was a long time ago, so I will probably have it wrong.
 
I’v said it before and I’ll say it again. He’s as thick as mince meat, like proper thick and a drug taking scum bag who thinks he’s hard, he’s a piece of sh***. This is meant to be your club woodgate. You thick tw**. Two jobs that chairman gave you after you fu**** off to Tottenham as a player. I despise the man. Gibbo even brought him back and gave him a job as assistant to Carrick. Even after he got sacked as manager as we were heading for league one. I mean really. The evidence is there of why the man is a sc** ba*. We know he was a good player but as a person I’m actually embarrassed he’s associated with Middlesbrough. Ask him about his drug dealing friend Clifford. What a nice bloke he was as well. Not
