Your favourite "thing" about match days?

Wake up, breakfast, coffee, usually kick off at 10am here (Eastern US time), log onto MFC live stream, facetime the old man back home in boro. Angle the iPad facing my laptop so that he can watch the match (he's in no fit state to go to games), chat for 10 mins about the match post-game, let him speak to his grandson for a little while.

No single favourite "thing"... just really love the whole morning experience as I never know how long it will last this way.

I'm probably pretty boring but i don't go for any other reason than for the football, the atmosphere during the game, and hopefully celebrating some goals. I'm not remotely bothered about pints/pies/bovril/burgers etc and don't ever bother
I'm like that now. I leave Saltburn an hour before kickoff, watch the match, then come home.

I'm in that boat now. 9/10 games I'm going by myself. Still good but not the same. Also there was a bit of a community of season ticket holders where I go but they've drifted off so I'm sat moaning to strangers 😁
I like the bloke I sit next too, I’ll miss chatting with him but I won’t miss the 2 blokes from further down the row who arrive late and leave early both halves every match. Annoying as hell.

My routine is usually go to the pub where we have a reserved table, a few pints and a bite to eat, walk to the game, watch the game, walk back dissecting the game, then home for a meal and more beer and more analysis. Same every match and been doing this for most of my adulthood, in one guise (Boro, Darlo, Cobblers, Whitby Town, Boro again) or another.

I don't even have any interest in the atmosphere. I'd be just as happy if the ground were empty. Players and officials excepted.
