The away games will be easier for him, no team in the Championship travels further for away matches, but the sheer distance he's covering for home matches will far outweigh that.
A minimum of 23 home matches, each is a 250 mile journey from London, 5,750 miles a season if he goes to them all.
The away journeys will be easier but it still adds up to be a significant figure over 23 games.
Middlesbrough based fans have to travel 6,973 miles this season for all the away matches, but obviously very few miles for the home matches.
Even when you take off the midweek home games not travelled to then it’s still a lot of miles.
We’ve already travelled the same as Leicester do in a season.

A round journey from London is 500 miles so if you travel from London to all 23 home games you are doing 11500 miles. I do about half the home games and that’s 5500 miles

Not sure how I forgot the return journey, that was daft of me.
It's not even close then.
Over 11,000 miles for home matches if you travel to them all.
Incredible effort.

The remarkable thing is that he has no family connection to the area, as far as I understand.

From what I understand that QPR U23 game was attended by a magnificent group of intrepid travellers - Yusuf, John, Roy and Capy who I imagine all do in excess of 20000. miles a season supporting our beloved team.
Roy, John and Peter are amazing travelling home and away from the Home Counties.
Roy is 87 now I believe. A home and away season ticket holder, he car shares or drives solo from near Luton. He also somehow fits in some Luton games as his neighbourhood club. In the summer he can be seen watching his cricket at Northants and Yorkshire. One of the few fans that can actually remember Ayresome Park in wartime. He can tell you the tales in a Camra pub. He will have a printed list of real ale havens wherever Boro play in Britain or when we were away in the UEFA Cup.
But hats off to Yusuf and the enthusiasm and out there volume he brings to Boro at home and on the road. As so many have said we are always on the road for Yusuf.
